Zsuzsa Moizer, The space between us, 2014, oil on canvas, 150×100 cm
The Erika Deak Gallery is delighted to announce its next exhibition, new works by Zsuzsa Moizer. After the grand installation she produced in the gallery two years ago, Moizer started to paint again. Her new oil paintings are dominated by humans and their surroundings, many layers of almost transparently thin paint builts up the images. Gardens, plants, animals, childhood memories, emtpy spaces, the contrast of warm and cold colours and peculiar lights characterize this new series, where the figures seem to be dissolving in their worlds and her personal stories gain a collective meaning.
